About My Career & Hobbies After college, I started working for Johns Hopkins in HIV research and got my MS degree in Biotechnology going to school at night. I am still working for Johns Hopkins in HIV prevention and treatment research but now in Blantyre, Malawi as the Laboratory Manager. In January 10, 2008 will mark my 5 year aniversary here in Malawi. In case you don't know, Malawi is a small land locked country in south east Africa. It has a total area equivalent to Pennsylvania.
